Version of 31 October 2026
The Śrīmad Bhāgavatam app does not collect, transmit or store any personal data.
So that you can continue where you stopped, the app remembers the chapters you have read, your place in the book (canto, chapter, verse, second of the recording) and your chosen speed, typeface, text size and theme. Widgets receive the current chapter and verse from the app through the device's own secure storage.
These values stay on your device, are sent nowhere and are removed with the app.
The text of the book and the narration are inside the app. The app does not go online and has no servers of its own.
If you share a verse, the text goes only where you send it yourself, through the standard iOS share sheet.
The app is not specifically intended for children and collects no data about anyone, children included.
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
